Bada-Bing Bada-Boom

Marian and Shaunna were right Chalk Paint is the "bomb." I can't believe this paint it's easy breezy, so many positive things have been said about the paint and I have to agree. My first project was quite simple it's a round table with a laminate top and I had no trouble painting it. I wiped it down and then I started brushing on the  Graphite chalk paint, I used a wide Purdy brush which was recommended. I used only one coat and then I brush on a glaze concoction followed by a little more chalk paint about an hour later I applied the wax, buffed it out and VOILA!

Have a great day!

  5. I love that you painted the TOP and left the legs natural -- and also like the added color on the 'band'. I just found out that a stockist lives a few blocks from me so I called her, she brought a can home for me and I walked over an picked it up! Can't wait to try it out on a little table I got from the local thrift store!

  6. LOVE.IT!! The color you chose is beautiful ... and, I love how you chose to accent your lovely table with the chalk paint instead of painting the entire piece. Great job !!

  7. You're right - it is the bomb. For some reason I can't find any in paint form...only spray paint, which is much harder to use and so much more "fume-ier." Will keep looking! Thanks for sharing this idea :-)

  9. Love how you accented the table with the blue! I am a die hard chalk paint fan...was concerned about the price as well but a little goes a long way and I can get soooo many projects out of 1 can. But, I haven't mastered the tinted glaze technique yet...guess I just need more practice! Any tips???

  10. Hi Vicky! I love your table re-do. I am in the process of doing my first chalk paint project in "Old White". I am curious to know what color you used on your table (to know what the chalk paint colors look like in "real life".
