The Dining Room is Finished!?

I'm super excited the dining room has really come together, I was able to draw my inspiration from some great blogs. I wanted to combine wood and painted furniture together but I wasn't sure if I would like it until I came across this lovely blog Red Door Home have you visited this blog? Here is a photo of her dining room I think she has done an amazing job.

I then discovered My Third True Love Ali was able to transform her dining room table into something very spectacular.
I also able to make my color choice by logging on to Pinterest and I found this stunning Horchow Loma dining room set for a mere $1900.00 I don't think so...........let's see what I can find on Craigslist.
Before

So without further ado allow me to introduce the dining room!

I used Annie Sloan's Dark Wax to create the look. I love how it turned out.
Click here if you want to see the before.
I have two more chairs but I think six is plenty.

Of course I will spend time tweaking and finding the perfect fall centerpiece so I will keep you posted. Click here to enter my giveaway.

  11. Did you use a sprayer for the chairs? I'd love to tackle my dining room chairs but it's too much work right now unless I sprayed, but I haven't tried spraying yet. Would love to know if you did, and what sprayer you used. Thanks!

  17. Your dining room turned out awesome! I just pulled down several chairs and a dining room table yesterday to redo. My bank is featuring my furniture the month of December and I thought that would be a great opportunity to set up some larger SF items. I've been going back and forth on black or white, black or white... Then, yesterday it hit me.

A piece of fabric from another project made me realize I wanted lighter chairs and I'm HOPING the top of the table will strip and restain a dark espresso. I struggle with getting stain right... so hopefully I'll have as good of results as you:)
