Moving Forward

Hello Readers,

I can't believe the holidays are almost over, we have had some joyous times over the past few weeks with family and friends. I haven't been up to much really other than stuffing my face with delicious food and libations! I did take a few moments to think about what I want to accomplish in 2012. This is always easier said than done but my best way to achieving goals is this, I only give myself 90 days. For me it's just the right amount of time to create a checklist and stick with it.

For Christmas Santa did bring a television so I want to share with you how our family room looks now.

I love having the TV mounted on the wall, now with that being said it's time for yet another PROJECT(s).
This baby is getting a makeover! I have signed up for upholstery classes beginning January 31st. I'm looking forward to the process. I haven't decided on a fabric yet but I still have time. My couch is crying out for new pillows so that's easy peasy, I should be able to make new ones rather quickly.

My dear and sweet friend gifted me this great cookbook, I am really looking forward to diving in and trying many of the recipes. I will keep up you posted :)

I just love this stained glass don't you? My hubs gifted me this beautiful piece of artwork a few years ago and I just love it. It's perfect for this space.

I will see you in 2012! CHEERS!!!

  1. Love your family room with the tv above the fireplace! The stained glass is beautiful. I had a piece that got broken in our last move :(
