A Knock Off Ensemble

A few weeks ago I was flipping through two magazines Pottery Barn and Ballard Designs and I saw these great vases and then I saw the prices "HELLO."  I won't tell you the prices but let's just say I'm not buying them, but I really, really like them. Here are the vases, I love the rustic earthy look of them, so what's a gal to do?

A gal is going in her basement to see what she can use to recreate them , let's see how all it turned out.

Look at the treasures CRAP that I have found in my basement.

One mans crap is another mans treasure :)

I love ASCP!!!

Thanks for coming by and checking out my latest project, I'm looking forward to doing more "knock offs" in the future.

  1. oooh, great knock-off! I've been thinking about trying this too. I need something on my mantel that I am too afraid to decorate because I have yet to master that:)

Hope your day is off to a fabulous start!

  2. Well done! I'm big on reinventing what you already have. I look for inspiration on the pricey websites/magazines and do the same thing. The finished product looks great!

  4. Love it! Repurposing is so much fun. I'm with you on some of the things I drool over in magazines, but hey they do push us to be creative. : ) I'd love if you'd share one of your projects at my Frugal Treasures Tuesday party! Also love that chair makeover, WOW! Great job!
