Thanks for coming by! Some of you already know that I'm participating in a Mod Podge Campaign you can read about it here.
I was so excited when my box of goodies arrived so now I'm ready to get my Mod Podge on!
These Plaid products are available at Michael's.
I purchased a storage box on the clearance rack at at a discount store.
I like the box but the style isn't me...so I'm going to switch it up
here is the fabric and Mod Podge that I will use
after painting the box and measuring the fabric

I brushed the Mod Podge on the fabric and box and waited for it to dry

after it was completely dry I used my rotary cutter and exacto knife to trim it up

much better....but what about the inside

Mod Podge to the rescue

here is the scrapbook paper I will be using
it's easier to pour Mod Podge on a plate then trying to shove a brush inside the bottle (just a tip)
I brushed the inside with Mod Podge
pressed the scrapbook paper inside
waiting for the Mod Podge to dry ( just play the Jeopardy song in your head)

how pretty....... it's nice and dry (happy dance)
I love how my storage box turned out

Hey Lady, I am so loving this. Not only is it easy and cute, but what a great way to keep clutter off of your table and still have access to those little things.
ReplyDeleteI so need to do something like this. I have a rolling cart with Plaid supplies, Mod Podge, stencils, decorative papers, etc. and I haven't used them in a while. You have truly inspired me with ideas I can do inside during the hot days of our CA summer when I have to stay inside because of my health. : )
By the way, Frugal Treasures Tuesday is up and running! -_^
