Roasted Radishes Yum

Howdy Readers,

It's Friday happy weekend to all. Last night I tried a new recipe and I was pleasantly surprised, the few times that I have eaten radishes have only been in salads. I used the recipe that was included with my produce click here for the recipe.

If you like to try different foods I recommend giving this a try, the radishes taste like cauliflower  sort of.
clean, slice in half, coat in olive oil and sea salt, roast at 450 for 18 minutes or so
I topped the cooked radishes with feta cheese for a little extra zing

for dessert I sliced the strawberries and added agave nectar and balsamic vinegar
the berries were so good, my hubs said "what a tasty treat"
I have had this bottle of balsamic vinegar for about ten years it's like syrup....but it's almost gone :(
Have you ever tried berries and balsamic?

Thanks for passing this way!

  1. Balsamic vinegar and strawberries is a great combination. I love the spiky and sweet flavor together.

  2. I've never tried either of those, but I love roasted vegetables. One of my favorites is Pioneer Woman's roasted brussel sprouts. My teenager even likes them! :)

    Have a great weekend!

  3. I've never had roasted radishes. I usually pick them out of my salad. I think you may have convinced me to give them a second chance. Thanks for posting your recipes!!!

  5. I would have never thought to roast radishes, but it sounds good. Will definitely have to give it a try. I love balsamic vinagrette with strawberries over baby spinach leaves, yummy! : ) Thanks for sharing. I'm trying to eat healthier too!
