Preparing for Fall


Hello Readers,

I can't believe October is knocking at the door can you? Earlier this year I posted photos of my backyard with much excitement and now it's time for the the not so fun stuff.........cutting plants back, putting away pots, planting bulbs and so on. 

I remember planting  these zinnias

and now it's time to pull them out along with the coleus
every year this Japanese Maple looks wonderful  great color and foliage 

and then it turns to crap fried and dry :(

and now it has to be put in the shed


all of this has to be cut back, this is going to take a lot of time I hate this part
