Pumpkin Streusel Cake

Hello Readers,
How are you? Can you believe Fall is here and it's time for all things comforting! I baked a Pumpkin Streusel Cake the other day and I want to share with you the recipe. I have probably baked this cake a dozen times or so, it's really yummy too. 

gather ingredients



add streusel

BAKE!!! The house smells of pumpkin and cinnamon
 as treat I baked the cake for my's a great way to start a Monday don't you think?
"I hope she plans on grilling chicken, I really don't have a taste for cake today."

Pumpkin Streusel Cake
Makes 12 to 16 servings
1cup packed brown sugar
2teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/3cup butter or margarine, softened
1cup chopped nuts
1package DUNCAN HINES® Moist Deluxe® Classic Yellow Cake Mix
1can (16 ounces) solid pack pumpkin
1/4cup butter or margarine, softened
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. For streusel, combine sugar and cinnamon in small bowl. Cut in 1/3 cup butter with pastry blender or 2 knives. Stir in nuts; set aside.
3. For cake, combine cake mix, pumpkin, eggs and 1/4 cup butter in large mixing bowl. Beat at medium speed with electric mixer for 2 minutes. Spread half of batter into ungreased 13×9-inch pan. Sprinkle half of streusel over batter. Spread remaining batter over streusel. Top with remaining streusel. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
