Roasted Sweet Potatoes

Hello Readers,
Sweet potatoes are always a Fall favorite it's such a comfort food. Today I want to show you an easy low calorie way to enjoy them without butter and brown sugar...........I promise these are still a real treat.

Looking yummy wouldn't you agree
peel sweet potatoes

slice into rounds

cover baking sheet with foil and spray with cooking spray, place sweet potatoes on baking sheet and drizzle two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil over sweet potatoes

loosely cover sweet potatoes with foil and place in a cold oven
Turn on oven to 450 degrees, as the temperature rises the sweet potatoes will begin to release sugar

after 30 minutes remove foil and turn the sweet potatoes over,
see how they begin to crisp up
place foil over sweet potatoes once again and bake for another
10-15 minutes

after 40 minutes or a little longer this is what you have crispy hot sweet potatoes without all the extra calories

go ahead and give this recipe a try you won't be disappointed with this low calorie version. The secret is placing them in a cold oven (who knew) be sure to bake plenty.
